Having Options

One of the best moves an up and comer can make is, try to have more than one connect.  Having options will benefit a lot.  Sometimes the connect may be “out of town” (supply is dry, booked, really out of town, etc.) once this occurs one can simply go to another plug.  A downside to this is the variable of product quality and price. Sometimes the “substitute” plug may not have the same product or charge at a different price.  Sometimes if a connect has knowledge that one is picking the re-up from rivals, it could have a negative effect on business.

Always having the option of resupplying without hassle will help on steadily stacking “ends” and also keep clientele pleased.  They will always know who to pick “it” up from and always know “it” will always be in stock.

REVIEW OF LOGICS' #PROBLEMATIC

REVIEW OF LOGICS #PROBLEMATIC

If your from the North West & a true fan of rap then you've heard of the lyricist Logics "Young Ghangas".  Late 2009 was when I first heard him via 2dopeboyz.com on his track "The Last Hope" featuring Geo of the Blue Scholars and another up and coming NW MC Fice.  Since that day, his songs have always made it onto my iphone with many plays on repeat.  .  His recently released #Problematic EP consists of seven carefully crafted tracks produced by various producers, such as; Marcus D, Kuddie Fresh, Tryfe, Baked Beatz, & Undisputed DJ's. This project seems to go more in depth than about who Logics is not just an MC but a person, compared to his previous mixtape "Clarity".  Revealing stories of his struggles to make it in the game.  He speaks on coming up as a hardened battle MC with stripes, his own venture into street pharmacy & whip jackin' to a member of the military (Air Force).  His crafty punchlines gives his music a more intelligent hear, attesting to the tunes being labeled as "real rap" in my opinion and not the commercial crap catching so much play on radio.  The fifth track "Work" has had the most repeats thus far for me and I believe sums up Logics and his music.  He goes in with a good chill beat and motivating hook, along with go getter lyrics.  I won't use any bullshit rating system like 5 mics out of whatever to rate this or any mixtape I review in the future (this being my first) only calling it boo boo shit or good music.  So let me just say that with #Problematic that I will be waking up an hour early and hit the corner store to pick up a Black & Mild Royale, then take the longer scenic route to school later today.

Percision with the pen, diabolics with the plan. -Young Ghangas "Goodbye"

Connecting with the Connect

Building a stable connection with the connect is essential, especially if one plans on taking the pharmaceutical distribution occupation serious.  Being reliable and consistent is key.  Standing by your word and the way you conduct yourself reflects on how the connect views the business relation's potential.

High level connects do not do business with people who think with a child’s mindset. Which means one should never try to impress the connect by talking about other street ventures or “work” they’ve put in.  It shows the connect that this person probably talks to others blatantly about pharmacy also.  In turn augmenting the suspicion that business information is potentially leaked to unnecessary ears.

It’s not about your words, it’s about your actions. Thus be on time with the full amount of currency and no funny business, connects usually spook quit easily. Who wants to be apprehendid?, because of a business partners stupidity and lack of maturity.  Conduct yourself accordingly and the connect shouldn’t see any problem with keeping you connected.
Remember act like an adult.

Prime Investments on Location

As hard as it is to believe some of the best locations to hit sales are places right out in the open. Most public venues like parks, malls, bowling alleys etc are prime locations. You meet the clientele with the disguise of meeting a friend and most people really never take notice to what’s actually happening. Another plus is that the potential of violence or a possible set up lessened, depending on the types your dealing with. Though just like the lifestyle itself there is a major con, which is law enforcement.  Setting shop up out in the public let’s you be more visible by law enforcement observing for an investigation or worse a sting operation.  All in all though as long as you can keep a low profile money can be steadily made at any public location.
